Inflamed Tonsils With Knots And A Yellow Coating
My tonsils are inflamed, have knots, and a yellow coating. I have sores forming on the back of my throat. I recently finished 875mg of amoxicillin. Has this infection become immune to antibiotics? This is the fourth time this year with this infection. What is the possibility of this being an STI or STD?

recurrent attacks of tonsillitis is an indication for tonsillectomy. it's mainly due to streptococcal infection not related to std. visit for ent surgeon for tonsillectomy.
