Infant with continuous cold, cough, feverish chills, breathing difficulty. Sign of bronchitis?

Hi Doctor, My son is 6months now and within the past month has developed a stuffy runny nose its. Along with feverish chills but has not had higher then 100.02 fever which doctors did nothing about. Along with a cough thats been getting more and more prevalent and now is causing some difficult breathing at night I was wondering if this could be bronchidous.
