Infant Suffering With Hepatitis, Has Inflated Belly, Liver, Hernia. Treatment Suggestion?
Hello Doctor, I am Subash. My nephew(m) is 8 months old & he is the suffering from Hepatitis(leg,hand=thin & belly=more big)and increased liver , hernia & now his weight is 4.5kg and previous starting birth as 1.6kg.. So How do as well to my nephew(rudra) removed these jaundice virus ?? please guide me....

I am not happy with the picture of your nephew presented by you. He needs to be throughly examined and managed by a doctor. This may even involve hospitalization. The basic investigations that I can suggest are:
1. Haemogram
2. Liver function test, including serum proteins
3. Kdiney function test
4. Urine routine
5. Stool routine
6. Ultrasound of whole abdomen
Depending on the investigation results some specialised tests may be ordered and further course of management planned accordingly.

There can be various causes of jaundice in this age group. It is not only due to viral causes. You have not mentioned any laboratory finding( like complete blood count, liver function test, viral markers, ultrasound of abdomen) or associated symptoms like fever, color of urine and stool etc.
It is type of virus, their status and type of liver involvement according to which treatment is decided.
It would be easier to guide if you had mentioned the above parameters.
So I would suggest you to consult your doctor for proper evaluation and discuss with him about the disease condition.
