Infant Has Fever, Low Appetite, Shivering And Sleep Issues. Suggestions?

My 7 month old has a mild to moderate fever ( our thermometer doesn t work, so I don t have a clear number and all shops are closed). Her appetite decreased, she s fussy, has issues sleeping tonight, and she s shivering a bit more. She s less playful and seems to be slightly weak. We gave her 2.5 ml infant pediacare and she was a bit better, but a couple of hours later went back to feeling sick and fussy. Any suggestions?

Pediatrician 's  Response
hi

thanks for writing

should definitely have a working thermometer with infants at home

are there any other problems associated

like cough, cold, crying while passing urine or recurrent urination or discharge from ear etc

are there any vomitings

poor feeding is one danger sign here .................
monitor her activity, feeding........look for any vomitings

if she persists to have these problems..........take her to the nearest pediatrician

hope this helps

take care
