Infant Has Cough, Sleeplessness. Given Steam. On T Minic Drops. Does It Have Side Effects?
Hi my son is nine months old. He has just developed cough and had problem sleeping last night even though I gave him steam. Therefore, i gave him T minic drops( suggested by his doc) for immediate relief. Just checking if there are any side feect of this drug. Also, do I now needd to complete the course for 5 days( morning and evening ) dose?

Tminc contains oral antihistamine and usually it is safe in prescribed dose.
It is a symptomatic medication and you can continue for 5 days if the child is having cold.
For cough you can give mucolytic agents such as oral ambroxol in prescribed dose.
