Infant Has Blood In Mucus, Frequent Bowel Movements, No Fever Or Vomiting Or Stomach Pain. Breastfed. Advice?
my child 8 months old....she is having blood stains in mucus ...motion six to seven times ....not so watery stool..and no symptoms of stomach pain and dehydration ...no fever and vomiting... breastfeeding and ricesoup is given occassionally....we have started neopeptine and nor-metrogyl suspension ..pls advice as soon as possible...

Get a stool routine and culture examination done, if it shows high pus cell count with RBCs, then it would be better to get him admitted and administer i/v antibiotics like Amikacin and Ceftriaxone for 5-7 days while giving almost nothing from mouth for first 2-3 days. Thanks.
