Hi.
Thanks for your query,
crying is not only because of hunger it could be other reasons as well,if she is gaining proper weight, her urine output is normal then she is getting adequate milk, regarding constipation are stools hard,if yes you can add little glucose 1 to 2 pinches in your expressed milk and give it with spoon 2 to 3 spoons 2 to 3 times a day.
you should take plenty of fluids, fruit juices.avoid gas forming foods.
Your baby will be fine

Hi Sridevi,
Thank you for your appreciation of Healthcare Magic ,
Breast feeding is best for your baby and continue exclusive breast feeding. Infants usually cry because of colic. And infants passes stools once in 3 to 4 days and the stools will be soft like paste and it is not constipation for them.Mother should take proper balanced diet during breastfeed and an extra 500 kilo-calories should be consumed in addition to her regular diet.
You can feed your baby whenever baby cries that is demand feeding. I f your baby had low birth weight you can feed her every 2nd hourly.

hello

thanks for writing to health care magic

if you are loosing weight ...........you may not be consuming adequate calories...........as breast feeding requires consumption of more calories.......so improve your calorie intake.

feed your baby on demand ..................
babys cry a lot because of various reasons...........do not have any low confidence that the breast milk is not sufficient........breast milk improves as the baby suckles at breast...........so donot worry

breast feed the baby with confidence...........love affection...................and breast milk will be definitely sufficient.....

hope this helps

take care and continue breast feeding for yur baby's health
