Infant Cries A Lot During Night, Breast Milk Is Not Sufficient, Gaining Weight Rapidly. Is This Normal?

HI Doctor , My baby is 2 months old and he cries a lot during night. Breast milk is not sufficient for him.His birth weight is 2.78kg and now his weight is 3.68 after 2 months.,Is this a correct weight for his age?I am worried about his weight and he keeps crying the whole night. Can i start giving lactogen for him once in a day when he cries even after breastfeeding? Thanks in advance.

hello dear .
Thanks for your query at Hcm.
Children at 0 to 3 months will gain weight very rapidly at rate of 20 to 30 grams per day. So your child is growing normally. Child might not ve getting sufficient amount of milk that is the reason child crying in night.
try to exclusive breast feeding upto 6 months of age , if baby requires more you can give lactogen as per needs .
regards
