Infant Born With A Raised Bump On The Eyeball. Reddish Eye. Allergy?

My 1 year old daughter was born with a clear slightly raised bump/spot on the white part of her eyeball and the pediatriciam said that it was nothing but to watch and see if it got bigger or changed color. Today for some reason it looks more pronounced to me and next to it the eye seems a little reddish I don t know if its from her rubbing her eyes or allergies but what can this be?

hello there,
redness in eyes can be caused by either an allergy, trauma or infection, best can be evaluated by an ophthalmologist.
in these cases you should not take any chances whatsoever and straight away should consult a doctor.
may be there nothing wrong, but if needed he would prescribe some drops to cure it.
wish her a rapid recovery
