Hi

Thanks for the query

Asthalin and Duolin both contain similar drug salbutamol plus duolin also contains ipratropium bromide also with salbutamol.

Salbutamol and ipratropium bromide both are bronchodilators (they relax airway muscles) and help in reducing cough, plus ipratropium bromide also helps in reducing rinorrhea that is will be helpful in cold.

In my clinic if patients come with such complaints i would like to go for duolin as it contains two different drugs which can work in synergism to give fruitful effects, plus this preparation will help to reduce secretions in airway because of ipratropium bromide.

Regards.
