Increased Heart Rate, Sharp Chest Pains And Constipation. Are These Related?

Well I ve been having some concernes one being my heart has been racing for no reason as sometimes it feels alike my heart is gonna jump out of my chest . Today I was getting little sharp pains I n my chest. I ve also been constipated for a week and a half and I ve tried everything and nothing works, could the two be related

Thank you for your question.
As a general rule, whenever one gets a racing heart and chest pains I would first do an EKG to rule out anything serious. If the EKG is normal then I would consider other possibilities.
Constipation can cause one to have abdominal pain but chest pain is not commonly associated with and neither is a racing heart commonly associated with it.
