Increase In Body Temperature, Feeling Extremely Hot In The Forehead. History Of Hot Flashes. Reason?

Was in Mexico till 11/1 developed UTI have had urine culture 3 times no more infection but for last 8 days body temp from 96-99 and but extremely hot inside almost felt like fire especially in front of head chest .Would not turn off.Went to emergency had blood culture no high white blood cells.Thought it was from estrogen cream to much Have been off estrogen cream now for 5 days and getting hot inside again neck is stiff woke up big headache and hot again..I have had hot flashes for 3 years but this is not a hot flash.Today tep 97-99 up and down but forhead hot again.Thank you

Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,

After going through available details,you have recently suffered Urinary tract infection which is treated this is good that there is no infection now.

You have hot flashes due to menopause and taking estrogen cream for the same.

The hot feeling may be some side effects of antibiotics and analgesics you have taken during infection which can cause gastritis and cause burning sensation in chest.

You should see your physician and get examined if there is no infection and all the drugs are stopped. Hormonal imbalance as you have stopped estrogen may be started in low dose.

Headache and stiff neck may be independant form hot flashes. It could be muscle spasm in neck.
