If You Had A Heart Problem Will Something Happen To You In A Short Space Of Time?
if you had a heart problem will something happen to you in a short space of time? im told within 6 hours if its the heart. some people think it is but its the chest wall?
Heart problems can be difficult to pin down, especially if the problem is caused by arterial constrictions.
The classic thumping pain in the upper chest and throat do not occur all the time. Vomiting and dizziness, pain in the shoulders, neck and back can all be symptoms. Chest infections can tip the scale, to start heart attacks, while masking the true problem.
It takes an experienced cardiac specialist, to accurately assess the output of a cardiograph.
This happened to me. I was admitted to Hospital, suffering from the vomitting and back pain. The Triage and Medical Assessment Doctors missed the diagnosis and I was sent home, untreated.
6 months later I was readmitted to A&E, having suffered similar symptoms for 2 days. This time I was seen by a cardiac specialist (by chance). I am now leading a reasonably active life, with little or no chronic issues.
Thank You Southampton Cardiac Team!........... a truly world class faculty!
