IT Band Inflamed, No Relief After Back Surgery, Bone Chip Removed Pressing Scatitia Nerve, Doing Pain Management. Solution?

My IT band has been inflamed for over a year. Had back surgery in May and had a bone chip removed that was pressing on my scatitia nerve. Have had no relief from the IT band pain. I have been in pain management, had injections, went thru PT and an now in pool therapy trying to strengthen my core. I'm unable to walk any distance, play golf, or any of the activities that I did a year ago. I'm considering having my IT Band clipped and am wondering of this is a feasible solution to the problem
