IS Bleeding During Pregnancy A Symptom Of Miscarriage?
Hi, Im coming up on 7 weeks pregnant 32 days after embryo transfer through IVF and was told 2 weeks ago i had miscarried as i had started bleeding and my hormone level had dropped from 481 on 03/05/11 to 230 on 05/05/11 the clinic continued to check my levels and i was told on 09/05/11 that the levels had risen again to 1051 and i got an internal scan on the 10/05 they located the sack in the womb and they said everything looked well and were happy with what they could see at that point and brought me back today 12/05 for another scan again i was told everything looked good that the baby had doubled is size from last week and that they were very happy with everything but 2 hours after the scan i started bleeding very heavily i contacted my clinic and all they have told me to do is rest until tomorrow and see how things go and if i was still concerned to call them back but im very worried that iam miscarrying is this not something that would or could have been picked up on my scan today?
As of now unfortunately all we can do is wait ma'am. I am unaware of the scan results and images, so I really cannot say much. But at times, bleeding is seen during pregnancy, although not heavy.
This is not comfortable news, and could be a cause for concern, but let us wait and see for the best to happen.
You are in my prayers. Best wishes.
