I Was Detected Recently With High BP, Kindly Help Me

I was detected recently with high blood pressure , I am 45, what I am going to do ? I want the best solution to my health problem. Since my mother died last August 2007, I was too depressed, smoked too much, and suffered insomnia . Since then , my blood pressure went up. I quit smoking in last November.

Congratulations on quitting smoking that was one of the best things you could have done for yourself! Because of the HBP ask your Dr. before you start any exercise program, you want to be sure you are cleared. That said...I highly recommend you google Dash Diet and read up on it, this is a very effective program with a lot of research behind it. Secondly make sure you get at least 30 minutes of moderate cardio pretty much every day, or at least 3 times a week minimum. Consider taking a really good multivitamin as well, it helps! If you are overweight the dash diet and exercise will help you loose which will also help you BP. All of the above will do you wonders I promise! Good luck!
