Welcome to HCM.
Chewing ice on regular basis is not a good idea. This may lead to many other ill effects in addition to headache.
Try to curb this compulsive disorder, as it will result in more harm than good. More over do not try to replace ice with some other thing such as chewing gum, as this could also be habit forming. Best would be to give up this constantly chewing habit for good.
Wish you all the best.

Hello.Welcome.Chewing ice all day is definitely very odd and not a normal habit. As far as your headaches are concerned I don't think there is connection between eating ice and your nocturnal headaches.Consult a neurologist for your headache problem.Good luck.

Welcome to Health Care magic Forum,
Well chewing ice may be one of the reason for your headaches, and may also result in severe and recurrent cough and cold in future, so keep control on your desire to chew ice.
