I Recently Discovered My Cholesterol Is At 233, Should I Take Medication ?

I recently discovered my cholesterol is at 233. My doctor wants me to take medication, but I'd rather not. Any tips for lowering cholesterol without the use of drugs? Does red wine help lower cholesterol? Your advice is greatly appreciated!

try exercise and low fat diet, if cholesterol doesnt come down, there is no other choice but to take medicines as suggested by your doc
