I Have Tonsillitis And The White Spots Are Even Bigger And Hurt Even More

Hi, I have tonsillitis and I went to the Dr. , he gave me 10 days of penicillin and that didn t work. I went back on Friday to get testing done and the results came back today and he said there was nothing wrong. The white spots are even bigger and hurt even more....What should I do! My ears are also plugged and have been for a week, and I have been taking an anti histamine and still nothing.

You may need a change of antibiotics.I advise you to get tested for typhoid also.Please see your Doctor again / ENT specialist for further evaluation.Meanwhile please do gargling with warm water withd added salt and turmeric.

welcome to HealthcareMagic
If the white spots on tonsils are bigger ;ears plugged goes to say that you still have the infection.It could be a viral combined with a bacterial one for which penicillin did not work.Please revisit your doctor he will examine you & if required change the antibiotic or give some other medicines to help you get better.
