I Have Taken Weight Gain Tablets Called Ciplactin And Demaxophane, Does These Have Side Effects ?
i have taken weight gain tablets called ciplactin and demaxophane for a year does it have side effects i have gained weight by taking ciplactin and demaxophane tablets. does this has side effects i have used for more than 6 months i ws very skinny now i on an ideal weight.

No drug is free from side effect whether is allopathic Ayurveda /homeopathic .Drugs demaxophane you are taking is steroids whose long term use without proper indicated is always harmful. Another is appetizer & antihistamine ,its long term use also not free from side effect.so stop taking for long time without proper indication.Disclaimer

ciplactin is cyproheptadine used to increase appetite & antihistaminic .It produces voracious appetite & induces lots of lethargy & even sleep.Excess of food eaten with no exercise is extra work for stomach;intestine & liver .sometime they will also get tiredas they are overworked & liver function will get disturbed.The other tablet is steroid ;it is a drug used for specific treatment by doctors & long term use is not advisable.Unnecessary taking of steroid for weight gain will give rise to joint pain ;swelling;suppression of bone marrow ;& even make your bones porous & brittle .It will create a disease which will not be easily treated ;so better discontinue ASAP.Never use it for weight gain again.
