Hi,thanks for query.Smoking can not lead to boils but it can delay recovery. The areas where you are having boils in very common. You need to complete the course as advised. Please avoid wearing tight clothes, wear cotton most of the time.Try to maintain good hygiene.Apply some local antibiotic over it.

General & Family Physician Dr. P. Mahesh's  Response
Hi Dear,
Welcome to HCM.
Smoking does not cause boils or furunculosis or carbuncles, though it does harm your body in many other ways, most serious being lung cancer.
These boils need to be treated with oral antibiotics and local antiseptic lotions or ointments, otherwise they will spread from one area to other. Consult a doctor immediately and yes quit smoking before it's too late.
Wish you speedy recovery.
