I have red dots/bumps on legs, Could it be Iron deficiency ?

For a few weeks now I have had red dots on my legs, mainly my calves and ankles. They did not start itching until this past weekend. My husband thinks it is an iron deficiency. I have not had blood work for a long time but the last time I did, my Iron levels were okay. Could it be Iron deficiency?
