it depends on where ur hymen (virginity) is - e.g some females hymen (virginity) may be low and this can cause the hymen to break away. sometimes in females the hymen may be a few inches into the vagina. it just all depends but yes it is very possible for a tampon to break a hymen which is the actual name for the cherry lol. if you dont get what i mean look it up! - so many girls and women dont know there own bits and bobs lol pretty shocking :o

Virginity is lost during sexual intercourse [when the penis is inserted into the vagina].
Unless "tampon" is slang for "penis," you didn't lose your virginity.

To lose your virginity your hymen has to be torn. A tampon can cause you to tear your hymen but it not likely. Don't wear tampons unless you have already had sex. Breaking your hymen isn't a pleasurable thing It can hurt and I definatly would not have liked to have my hymen torn by a tampon
