Injury yes, I was cleaning off a deck with wire brush and leaned over with wet rag after to scrub, however, when I did this a bristle of the wire brush punctured my skin and I think hit the vein on opposite side of elbow as when I pulled it out it bled and bled. Infection? I have a friend who has a Z-Pack who was going to give it to me, would that help? It spread and is more painful today, hard mass growing leaded by a softer mass headed over my bicept now. :-(

Skin coler normal, center vein looks a tad darker then other arm but thats it. I cannot extend my arm out __ only like this \_ or this < but todat I cant even let it hang free the pain is so bad. Thank you for your help everyone!

Thank you all, I went to Dr. today who put me on Augmenton and sent me to get an UltraSound as she was 90% sure it was just infection from the jab, but still 10% worried about clot as if that the case I would need emergency surgery. UltSnd showed infection/haematoma but also revealed an odd, not common, yet not matalic looking clot that was restricting some flow but not all. I have never seen so many people looking at it on screen...1 US tech, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and two MD's. The lead MD at ultra sound place called my GP and they want me to take Augmenton as directed but watch very close as if it gets ANY bigger vs. stay same/decrease or if fingers and/or sholder goes tingley or numb, or if I have shortness of breath I am to call 911 for imediate surgery. Never knew clots were so dangerious! Thank you all for help though, just thought you may want closure on the Dr. day. Ill update next step (hopefully pain gone and pressure drastically reduced by AM! Fingers crossed all. :-)
