I Have Dark Red Patches Between Thighs Spreading To Vaginal Area
i moved to Brazil and since being here have developed dark red large patches in the upper inner thigh which are spreading to my vaginal area - i have not got fat legs - they are swollen and sighly itchy - it looks horrible and unsightly and is really worrying me - my personal hygiene is excellent and have showers 3 times a day. What is it and how can i stop it?

By seeing your complaints it is fungal infection known as tenia cruris, for this you have to maintain dryness and use clotrimazole ointment after shower for 8 weeks, if does not subside consult dermatologist

The region of genital and thigh area are more prone to have fungal infection as it is mostly warm and moist.In your case itchy red patches seem to be most likely the same.Kindly consult a dermatologist.Treatment would be anti fungal tablets and dusting powder as advised by your dermatologist.It may occur even in hygienic people, so dont worry , get well soon.
