MY age 49 years. Male. I have been suffering by diabetic more than 10 years. I am taking medicines for the same. Now Dr advised to take Gride 1 mg before (10 to 30 mts ) breakfast and volix.3 at the time of breakfast. Night after meals i am taking atorbest 10 mg. Now my fasting sugar always below 120 mg. but my pp sugar varies differently i.e. 120/140/193/200 by one drop blood check method. What shows it? What is the reason for this. Thanks

What is your height and weight? Are you type 2 diabetic? It's more likely so. I'd like your doctor to add a tablet called metformin if it's not contraindicated in you.
PP sugar is different all the times. It's not just the meals which determines it. It is also related with your physical activity, hormone levels, content of food, mental stress etc. Its advisable to keep it below 160 by one drop check method.
