Hi greetings from health care magic
if there will be any infection inside throat it will hurt and throat and ear are interconnected by Eustachian tube so you will get pain in the ear too. sore mouth could be stomatitis. so just do warm saline water gurgling and consult with your doctor for treatment it will be alright. thank you

Hi,

Your sore throat can cause ear pain, as both the regions share the same nerve supply. If the pain is severe with difficulty in swallowing and associated fever, it can be acute pharyngitis which requires treatment with antibiotics. Consult a good ENT specialist and follow their advice. Till then you need to drink plenty of warm water, use povidone iodine gargles after food and pain killers.

Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.

A sore throat an mean an infection and this could either reach the ear or cause a referred pain in the ear . The throat and the ear are connected and hence this is noticed .

It could be an infection of the throat most probably , or as the Doctor has examined you directly,it could be the arterial inflammation too.

If its an infection, salt warm saline water gargles three to four times a day is helpful, also rest your voice .A course of antibiotics may be needed if you have fever and similar issues.

Follow oral hygiene and use an anti ulcer gel for the sore, avoid harsh bristles tooth brush.

Wishing you good health .
