Hello jenjent;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Bleeding at time of stools can be commonly due to piles which can happen as a result of excessive straining for stools;constipation.It is not a reason to worry but if you have constipation then you need to do a few dietary changes like increase the intake of fibers in your diet by eating more fruits and vegeies;and avoid junk food and excessive fatty and fried food.Also for piles you should get examined by a surgeon and get treated if the bleeding is daily.
Take care.
Thanks
hi, welcome to HCM. Blood in stools can be due to various causes like piles, infection, a local tear in the rectum, increase in blood pressure, or even colonic cancer. Do get a local exam of the rectum and a stool exam done first and if local causes are excluded, then you can undergo a colonoscopy to rule out cancer of colon. Mostly the case may be one of piles, so do not worry unduly, but get yourself checked. The throat irritation may be a mild flu and needs just gargling and steam inhalation unless it becomes severe. Regards.
