I Have A Sore Split On My Left Inner Labia. What Could Have Caused This ?

I have a sore split on my left inner labia. I am post menopausal and have not had sex for months. I was recently prescribed antibiotics for a chest infection but this is the only difference in my lifestyle, so could you please tell me what could have caused this ?

hello
after menopause the estrogen in the woman's body decreases significantly and this causes the vaginal to itch and become sore. itching may be associated with scratching and that mite cause minor cuts /abrasions. the antibiotics for chest infection which you have taken are not the cause of this. you can apply a local lubicant jelly and if that doesnt help you can apply estrogen cream locally.
