Hi,

First of all it should be understood that malodor is caused by many reasons like decayed teeth, poor oral hygiene, gastric problems, liver disorder, diabetis, smoking, alcohol consumption, tobacco chewing. Gastric ulcer should be treated by a gastro-enterologist. You should consult a dentist to check for any problem in your oral cavity.

When you have ulcers, your stomach is hypersecreting hydrochloric acid. too much of it and it winds up in your mouth by going up the food tract.this can lead to bad breath. the answer lies rather in diet modification than ulcer medication. maybe meet a diet specialist with your problem and suggest a diet that balances your stomach secretions. also try experimenting with eating alkaline food. see if it works
Dentist, Endodontics Dr. Manisha Rao's  Response
Hi, first and foremost use a good mouthwash and a spray for primary relief from the symptom. go for a complete oral examination. If there is no oral problem, throat, lungs and gastric problems may also lead to bad breath. Please consult your dentist first. He may advise you how to proceed about the treatment plan. Take care!

Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Manish Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Bad breath can be due to a number of causes like :-
Local factors like oral hygiene (Improper brushing technique, food lodgment on the tooth surfaces, smoking, etc) or
Systemic factors like Diabetes, Gastric refluxes resulting from dietary components rich in garlic, onions etc.
The first thing is to visit your Dentist and get the cause of your condition diagnosed. Also get a professional cleaning (scaling/Oral Prophylaxis) done. Maintain good oral hygiene by simple procedures of brushing twice a day, rinsing and flossing after every meal. Start using a mouthwash regularly and drink plenty of water thru the day.
Take care....
