I Got Fever And Black Stools After Eating Some Chocolate Candy. I Am 74
i am 74 yrs age- good health--i recently ate some choclate candy and it was a lot--i became sick and weak-my temperature reached 101..i took pepto bismol- after 2 days in bed i felt better--temp back to normal--but my stool is still black-i have no pain when i go to release stool, i have not been to a doctor for this--i am a male--ty

Just wait for some more time and see, it may subside on its own. It happens with any acute infection.
