I Feel Like A Have Something Stuck In My Upper Throat On My Right Side. What Could Be The Reason For This?
Hi I feel like a have something stuck in my upper throat on my right side. it feels like a popcorn kernel (but i know it isn t that because i haven t had any popcorn-that is just the feeling) i can eat and swallow food fine but it is is annoying. i may have allergies and i wondering if it is just mucus but is strange that is is on the right side of throat. i also do get reflux from time to time but it really doesn t feel like that. any thoughts?

You can get such sensation if you have 1) A tonsillar swelling 2) A peritonsillar abscess 3) A web in the upper throat. Get evaluated by a ENT surgeon and get your throat examined.

Hi,thanks for query.It is possible that it might be an ulcer or so.Because of some hard or hot food at times this can happen.Reflux when frequent can also lead to this.As far as there is no difficulty in swallowing you need to worry.Take soft diet,more liquids,take some vitamin supplements and antacid for couple of days.bye.
