Hi. Welcome to Healthcaremagic

Because you are having regular cycles and it is delayed by one week, it is reasonable to wait few more days. Delay in cycles by 7-10 days is normal. If the mother breast feed the baby it can delay the cycles. There is also possibility of pregnancy also. But you said test is negative. you can repeat it it in one week.

I recommend wait for one month and get the Gynecologist consultation.
You need to check the prolactin, Progesteron harmones and Ultrasound. If everything is normal few months of birth control pills will regularize the cycles.

hii mam,
First off all,if your baby is on breast fed...then period date may alter or may present with amenorrhoea for few days.
Other causes like stress, emotional disturbances, physical trauma, anxiety or depression may present with abscence of mens on date.
Your past cycle was regular and for every 28 days with preg test negative.
So dont worry about missed period.
You have to do following things>
*Maintain healthy diet and weight control
*Light exercise
*Maintain personal hygeine
*Do urine test again after 15 days of missed period
*Do a profile of Thyroid function,Sugar,Lipid,FSH/LH,Routine Urine Exam and a USG if mens does not occurs after 1month.
All thing do under supervision of gynaecologist.
Be well.
