Hello.
Thanks for posting a query.
Spinning feeling can occur cause of many reasons, vertigo being the commonest cause. even a trauma to your cervical spinal cord or earlier spondylosis can also cause this spinning feeling. However the only this which concerns me is your history of trauma to head. Head injuries can present with this complain and one has to be cautious about it. Always consider getting yourself scanned by a CT machine. If that comes normal, i dont you have to worry that much and consider starting with some anti-vertigo drugs such as Vertin.
Hope i am able to solve your queries.

Emergency Medicine Specialist Dr. Dr. R.A. SINGH's  Response
Hi Gilbert,
Thanks for writing your query.

Head injury can result in spinning feeling or vertigo. In your case it is Positional vertigo. In this, vertigo occurs in changing the position of the body, as in your case you feel spinning sensation when you move your head in right side. It occurs due to disturbance in the inner ear.
Proper rest will help you recover faster. You can take cinnarizine 25 mg or betahistine 16 mg thrice a day under medical supervision.
It is advisable that you get yourself examined by an ENT specialist and a Neurophysician.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
