I am so sorry that I don't have enough information to answer your question. You don't indicate how old you are. You say that you don't normally bleed and I don't know if that means you don't normally for a week or you don't normally have periods at all. Forgive me if I make an incorrect assumption but if you do not normally menstruate and now you are having a prolonged episode of bleeding it's very important that you go to see a gynecologist. Without regular ovulation or another source of progesterone such as a prescription estrogen will cause the lining of the uterus to grow but not mature. Immature growth could eventually lead to a precancerous or even cancerous condition. So if you do not usually have periods but are premenopausal this could be a serious issue. If on the other hand you have regular cycles and this is the first time you had prolonged bleeding it may simply be due to stress and will correct itself. Finally if you're having postmenopausal bleeding it is also important to go to the doctor. I hope this information helps. I hope it gives you some guidance.
