I am suffering a pain at the right side of my lower back, is it because of a kidney infection?

Hello I am 23 years old and I am suffering a pain at the right side of my lower back. The pain is just confined to a single point. But it is not consistent. However when it occurs it pains severely. Do you think , it is because of a kidney infection? This pain mainly occurs when i am low on fluids.
