I Am Having White Spots On My Lips Which Has Formed A White Streak.
i am having white spots on my lips which has formed a white streak on upper lip. Age 30, female, one Dr told it fox fordyce. there is no itching

ur doctor is right u have fox fordyce spot
it is very common condition
u need to consult dermatologist
there are two treatment option
one medicine base
-isotretinoin is very effective drug in ur case but must be taken after dermatologist advise
second is laser therapy
by using ablative laser we can remove it
but keep in mind that there is high chance of reoccur so u must be aware of it .

Fox fordyce spots are nothing but sebaceous gland hypertrophy over lips .This looks like multiple tiny white dots over lips .They are asymptomatic and completely benign.
If your dermatologist has made this diagnosis then I am sure you don't have to worry at all.
If still you need to correct it for cosmetic reasons then you can get a laser ablation done .Consult a laser specialist (dermatologist ) for proper treatment.
