Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum

Throat infection is commonly due to viral infection which will lower down the local immunity and make the throat mucosa prone for bacterial infections.Hence its necessary to take precautionary measures to prevent bacterial infection ,that would be better done by salt water gargling or with Chlorhexidine solution. Avoid cold foods to prevent further congestion of the throat .
