I Am Experiencing Dizziness, Fatigue, Random Swelling / Itchiness / Redness Of Hands.
i am experiencing dizziness , fatigue, random swelling/itchiness/redness of hands and feet, occasion numbness and no ability to pick things up, shoulder and joint pain , and change in mood (because of the pain and sleepiness). it seems to come and go. I usually have 3-4 episodes a week. it doesn t seem to have a specific time or follow any dietary triggers. I am a 27 year old female. These problems have been going on for about 8 months now. If anyone has any suggestions that would be wonderful.

I am having the exact same symptoms and times sound right. I just went to the doctor and she diagnose B-12 anemia. I am getting B-12 injections four times this month. She is not associating the itching/swelling hands but I know it's connected so that is why I am here doing research. I'll let you know how it goes.

It is not possible to corelate multiple symtoms you have. Still to get relief is important. I feel it's due to multiple neutritional defficiencies. from that point of view please get following investigations done
-Hb%, typing of anaemia.
-thyroid function test
-R factor
-serrum calcium
This will pin point the problems &giving exact treatment.

Hello, welcome to HCM. All your symptoms could not be attributed to one cause from your history. You need to be clinically examined and evaluated thoroughly to find out the cause. As you stated in your reply that it has been diagnosed as vit B 12 deficiency some of the symptoms can be correlated with it. Itching and swelling of hands are not known to be effects of deficiency of Vit B 12. I would advice you undergo complete check up to find out the cause for it.
