I Am 4 Months Pregnant And I Have Not Pooped In 4 Weeks
I am 4 months pregnant and I have not pooped in 4 weeks. I ve tryed high fiber food veggies fruits everything. From not being able to go it has got my back hurting really bad what else can I do
oh, that is really troublesome .In pregnancy you can take Syp.Duphalac 2 tsp with warm water at night. It is considered as safe laxative.Or can try glycerine suppositories pre rectum if it is too bad.But do visit your nearby gynaec abd get it checked. If nothing helps you then the doctors cann perform manual removal of the faeces as the last option.
Hi
Welcome to health care magic
constipation during pregnancy is quite common. As at present you are just four months pregnant ,so avoid hard laxatives.Start consuming plenty of liquids & over sweetened milk .If very hard stool are present in the rectum finger evacuation may be required.
