Hypothyroidism. Pregnant. On Shelcal. What Is Wrong?
I am 28 year old and have pregnancy of 2 months with hypothyroid problem. TSH is 94 approx. Alongwith thyrobuild-150microgram tablet, my doctor has also prescribed shelcal 500 tablet. Whenever I take shelcal I feel a lot of pain in my whole body and stuffed stomach ....When I leave it I feel ok.Please suggest if it is necessary to take this tablet.

Your thyroid status is not controlled, TSH should be
Shelcal is calcium tablet not mandatory to take if no deficiency is there because most of the time prescribed empirically.
If deficiency is documented you can take after food, in few days intolerance will subside..
