Welcome to health care magic. This is a routine confusion but as you have been told, it does not make a lot of difference whether you take the tablet in morning before or after breakfast. But yes, traditionally it is considered to be taken on empty stomach as the efficacy is found to be best. If some one like you approaches me, i usually like tochange the timing to empty stomach and readjust the dose requirement over 2-3 months and then maintain as the absorption of thyroxine is more reliable with least variability in empty stomach.
