Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
Neurontin is an anti-epileptic that is well indicated in the treatment of nerve pains. However, it has its side effects. I will suggest she sees her Doctor for evaluation before quitting the drug.I wish to also know how long she has been on this drug.If she has not taken this drug for long, quitting is very easy. However, if she has been on it for long, the doctor will reduce the dosage gradually until the drug can be stopped completely. This will help to prevent serious withdrawal effects.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
