Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

Corex consists of Codeine and Chlorpheniramine. Codeine is an opioid drug and this is the reason of dependence of the preparation. You are taking 4-5 bottles per day and this is a high dose. You are also abusing Aciloc (Ranitidine) and Combiflam. To get rid of that addiction I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for treatment.
In codeine or opioid dependence first of all offending drug is replaced by a drug will less abuse potential like BUPRENORPHIN or METHADON. The replacement prevents withdrawal symptoms. Then gradual tapering of doses of this drug is done which is relatively easier.
Apart from that anticraving medicines like Naltrexone, Baclofen etc can be used to reduce craving and to reduce anxiety.

Thanks, hope this helps you
