How To Wean Off From Lorazepam .25 Mg?

I am taking lorazepam .5 mg three times a day and trying to cut back. This afternoon i cut back to .25 mg. How long should I try this dosage before cutting the AM back also. I have been on this since Feb but only taking two dosages a day for most of the months. I am seeing a specialist. Any helpful hints are appreciated. thanks, Carol

Hello,
You really need to get the advice the doctor that prescribed the medication. I will give you a reasonable taper to get off the medication safely. Take 0.25 mg three times a day for 2 weeks then take 0.25 mg twice a day for two weeks then take 0.25 mg once a day for two weeks then stop the medication
Regards
