How To Use MTP Kit For Termination Of Pregnancy?

My menses were supposed to by 16 or 17th of ths month...but dint turn up..so I checkd fr pregnancy n it was +ve..so on 22nd of nyt I tuk 1st tablet of MTP kit..n on 24th I tuk 2 another tablets in d nyt....I startd bleedng at 5 am ...so shud I tk another dose of remaining 2 tablets..?

Hallow Dear,

The termination of pregnancy by medicines should be carried out only by Obstetrician's prescription and under supervision lest the risk of incomplete abortion or complications like heavy bleeding.

The kit contains two medicines - Mifepristone and Misoprostol. Once the medicines are taken, the decision should not be reverted to continuation of pregnancy as these medicines are known to cause developmental abnormalities in the baby.

If you already taken the tablets, please complete the dose even though you have started bleeding to avoid incomplete abortion. After 7 days, better get ultrasonography done to confirm the completeness of the abortion.
