hi..
i have gone through your query and i understand your concern. These symptoms of vomiting and loose motions you are experiencing right after a meal, all point towards what we call Gastro-enteritis. I understand you might be suffering with the same condition after going through your history.
Gatro- enteritis otherwise called stomach-flu is an inflammatory condition of stomach and small intestine. the most common symptoms include vomiting, loose motions and abdominal cramping, all of which you are experiencing now. It occurs mainly due to contaminated food or water with some bacterial species like E.coli and virus like Rotavirus.
You said you started these symptoms after your lunch which might be the source of infection. please do not worry because this is very treatable.
If a similar case walks into my clinic, i would suggest my patient some antibiotics like Azithromycin 500 mg, Metronidazole 400mg, tab. ondansetron 4mg twice daily along with oral rehydration solutions(ORS). i would prefer antibiotics/ antibacterials because bacterial species are the most common cause of gastro-enteritis in adults. ORS would help in maintaining the fluid and electrolyte levels in the body as there is risk of fluid- electrolyte loss due to vomiting and loose motions.
So i would suggest you to consult your treating doctor or a General Physician and get treatment immediately. Severe Gastro-enteritis left untreated can be very risky leading severe dehydration. As you are still in the initial stage i would suggest you to seek treatment as early as possible.
i hope my answer helped. good luck and have a good health.
