How To Treat Vomit And Indigestion?

Hello doctor I need to ask you about my father, he is 63 yrs old and got angiography & angioplasty on 14 August 2012, the doctor have discharged him from the hospital on 16 August, but from then he is feeling vomiting and indigestion. What is the reason behind it? What medications shall you suggest?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
63 years old male having vomiting and indigestion after angiography and angioplasty can be due to medicine and stress induced gastritis or gastroenteritis.
This can be confirmed by tests of stool and ultrasonography.
And also therapeutic treatment with a PPI like Omeprazole, antacid and antibiotic if there is an evidence of an infection.
Give him probiotics and medications for stress if his Doctors advised so after discussion.
Change of some medicines that may be causing such a problems can be helpful.
