How To Treat Under Skin Acne And Pimples On Face And Neck,while Having Thyroid And On Acnesol And Diane 35?

Hi, I got married recently. Since then I am getting underskin acne and pimples on my face and neck. They are red and pain a lot, spl on my cheek area. I am 26 and have thyroid + history of acne. Please suggest a remedy. I am currently using acnesol and diane 35.

Hi. Welcome to HealthcareMagic

Acne in females could be because of hormonal imbalances. Since you are already on Diane -35 (given to normalize hormonal imbalances ), which must have been started by your gynecologist or dermatologist, so I would suggest that you continue with it for 6-12 months.

Since you have inflammatory acne so, If I aws your treating doctor, I would have started you on Oral Azithromycin Or Oral Doxycycline for 4-12 weeks depending on the response.

Topical antiacne gel e.g clindamycin gel during day time and Benzoyl peroxide gel for night time application would act to decrease acne, together with oral medicines.
