How To Treat Tinea Corporis Infection?

doctor, i have been suffering from tinea corporis for 3 years now, i have been taking medication for a month(clotrimazole cream + flucos tablets). The symptoms are again returning after i the medication period was over. What should i do? Age:22 height:174cm weight: 65kg

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The treatment protocol that you followed was the standard one but somehow it failed for your case! Therefore, we should think of some possibilities: recurrent infection, resistant infection and atypical fungal infections!

So now you have to go for a skin scrapping test first preferably with fungal culture and take miconazole based skin lotions for 4 weeks and please revert back to me with feedback!
